Social Networking Sites and Internet Marketing Do Not Necessarily Go Hand in Hand

First it was Blogs that everyone thought was the best thing since sliced bread. Marketers flocked to them thinking they would cure their lack of earning for good. In reality Blogs have been around since the Internet was actually created, in fact they were the very substance that the Internet itself was built on.
Then came the Social Networks (or as they are otherwise known, Micro-Blogs). Again the first main one being MySpace, but again many others had steadily been brewing and growing in the background for many years…
Funny how people tend to follow certain trends do you not think?
Facebook was another Social Network that people flocked to in their droves, but again for the marketers the money just somehow never seemed to appear, or it appeared in such small amounts that it was hardly worth mentioning. Not only that, but many that tried alternatives within Facebook ended up being deleted or losing their accounts altogether due to infringing on the Facebook Terms and Conditions.
Now we have Twitter in all of its glory with virtually everyone who is a member expressing its greatness.
The truth is these Social Networks all appear to be very similar, but under different themes, approaches and slight variations. Yet the big question still remains!
Why does everyone tend to flock to each new Social service as and when it is launched?
You may even be reading this and be a member of each one and perhaps more, but have you made any real income from joining the masses yet? If you have then you are doing better than the majority.
So why is it that when the next "In Thing" is launched online the masses will join blindly and think that they have arrived.
The one key factor that pretty much most people that join these programs tend to miss is the reason that (A) They have been made so aware of the program in the first place, (B) Feel comfortable joining because of that, and (C) Seems everyone else is a member so there must be something in it… Almost a lemming kind of philosophy (One jumps off of a cliff so the rest just blindly follow without much thought of what it will lead to) (In the lemmings case a pretty unfortunate outcome).
Now I am not knocking any of these great systems/programs in any way manner or form, but what I am saying is the majority of people tend to follow the majority of trends… Put that into a business sense and it looks like this.
In the business world there is a 5% and 95% rift, the 95% tend to be the followers and under achievers, while the 5% tend to be the real winners and top income earners.
What the 5% Do Not do is follow the 95% in any way; they do in fact lead the 95% group. What I mean is the reason that some of the systems and programs I mention above have become so successful to the point of becoming household names is their plan of action and marketing plan, without either of those things you and I would never have heard of any of them… FACT!
They have a certain shiny element integrated into them that is attractive to the masses as the originators did their homework very well and knew exactly what the general populaces main focus was/is in order to create something that would not only be attractive to them, but also draw them towards it.
To join the 5% requires a change in our thinking, they do not think like most people, nor do they work by the same principles that apply to others. They see things in a different light and work out how they can best utilise something to gain maximum returns.
How does this apply to Social Marketing and Blogging? Simply the fact that while these are indeed exceptionally very powerful marketing tools and revenue generators they were not initially designed or created with that purpose in mind.
However that is not to say that there are some powerful Social Marketing systems/programs out there that actually welcome this kind of use and activity, as there are, not only that, but when used in certain ways and configurations the sequence of events becomes one of, the Most Powerful Marketing formulas available. The kind the 5% use all the time.
The great thing is that there are still relatively few people that have actually grasped this and they continue to spend dollar after dollar in search of the Internet equivalent of the Holy Grail for creating true wealth. Truth is it really does not take masses of money to create wealth online.
It does take focus, determination, discipline, planning and following that plan with Action. Would you not rather work hard for yourself for a year and be on your way to achieving all your dreams, desires and goals than working 40 years for someone else and at the end of it end up with relatively very little?
The 5% are sitting in their plush office blocks surrounded by wealth creating the real revenue from the 95% way of thinking. Isn't it time to stop playing and really start earning?
Life is all about choices. It is easy to brow beat and moan, that seems to come easy to a lot of people, but it is not so easy to make the right choices…
Online training is critical to genuine success and should in no way be taken for granted or lightly, Wealthy Affiliate University is just one system that can put budding entrepreneurs in the driving seat. Striving to get ahead blindly without direction can certainly be a very costly and time consuming process. Nowadays there is no need for anyone to get left behind.
