For instance on Facebook, I can create a fan page or group to "invite" prospects into and then create relationships, recommend whatever products and services I have that can benefit them, etc. There are select strategies that can be implemented such as posting comments or sending bulletins to everyone in your network inviting them to come read your blog, fan page, or group. Gradually you gain the respect and leadership skills needed for people to trust you, and look for more. People start looking for your opportunity, instead of you hunting down prospects!

Social networking sites allow you to make pages with your own custom tailored touch. You begin to "self-brand" yourself so your followers know who you are, also very important! Post pictures or streaming video from your U-Tube account right into your Facebook. Not only are people getting to know who you really are, but also learning what you do for a living without pitching or sales involved!

One other important thing I forgot to mention…Facebook features a Pay-Per-Click program (PPC) where myself and other internet marketers promote our main source of income at a nominal fee. You can market across the country or join networks based upon your location, your college, or even your current carrerr. If there is a certain group of professionals you think would be a great target, FaceBook lets you do that.

In conclusion, network marketing sites such as MySpace and Facebook present yet another source of income for todays internet marketer. One more source to drive to your sales funnels or professional business blogs. It's not something that you can pick up and start implementing right away, but it's also not that hard to do. Find someone that you would like to learn from, then do what they do.

To some, this all might seem like a game. I suggest you take it seriously…I work from home, I set my own hours, I'm happy with my life, and I have the financial freedom to do what I want.
